Privacy and cookies

We keep things simple. Plushie Finds doesn't ask you to create an account, doesn't have contact forms or a newsletter, doesn't run its own analytics or advertising trackers, and doesn't set its own cookies.

What happens when you visit

• Hosting: this site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the service secure. See Netlify's privacy policy.
• Fonts and styling: our fonts (Fredoka and Nunito, from Google Fonts) and our style sheet are stored on and served from this site, so your browser doesn't connect to Google or any other third party to load them.
• Amazon links: if you click a link to Amazon UK, Amazon may set cookies on its own site so it can tell that you came from us and credit us for any purchase. That's covered by Amazon's privacy notice and cookies notice, not this policy.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies of our own, and we don't use analytics or advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics or other cookies, we'll update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites, such as Amazon UK, Jellycat and GOV.UK. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Because we don't collect personal data directly, there's usually nothing for us to hand over. Requests about data held by Netlify, Google or Amazon should go to those companies.

If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
